The next meeting of the Social Concerns Committee is Wednesday, December 7 at 7:15 p.m. in the St Clare Room. We invite you to join us for this last meeting prior to Christmas. Call  Karl Thompson at 543-9047 for more information.

We were able to provide needy families with  30 baskets that included all the Thanksgiving fixings and a turkey. Your generosity made this possible, and we are grateful for your support.

If you are doing fall/winter cleaning, we are collecting warm clothes and jackets along with hats, mittens and gloves for children and adults. They can be taken to the church office or to the Treasure Chest in the Narthex.

OUR ANNUAL CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY DRIVE

BEGINS TODAY!

This weekend you can select an ornament from our Christmas Tree that identifies children for whom we will be purchasing presents for Christmas Day. We will also have Christmas Stockings for the homeless available again.

Our Annual Christmas Food Drive needs non– perishable holiday food items, and we are hoping to receive cash donations that we can use to purchase turkeys and other items that are in short supply. We need to continue to identify families that are in need, including those who have recently lost their jobs. We currently have more than 30 families that we will be assisting and hope to provide at least 50 baskets to those in need.

We also need volunteers to pack food boxes and to wrap Christmas packages.

Please continue to pray for the success of our Christmas Outreach Ministry and for those who are in need at this time.
