Adult Bible Study Program

Announces its Winter/Spring Program

“Book of Glory”

from the Gospel of John

Chapter 13 through Chapter 21

A Nine-Week Session

January 26 through March 23, 2010

Tuesday Evenings 7:30–9:00 p.m.

In the Morris Center

The “Book of Glory,” or the second half of the Gospel of John, gives us a special rendering of the life of Jesus Christ, God who became man so that we might have eternal life. In studying this part of the Gospel you will come to better understand why Jesus had to suffer such an ignominious death and what that meant for all of mankind. John’s Gospel has a much different approach in telling the story of Christ’s death and resurrection because it is for a different purpose.

If you want to come to a deeper understanding of Our Lord, Jesus Christ and prepare to celebrate Easter with a new and deeper spiritual attitude, than this is a session that you should not miss.  It will be an excellent Lenten exercise.

Instructor: Mel Barror

Registration will be taken at the first meeting on January 26. There will be a fee of $20.00 to cover the cost of a book and other material used throughout this session.
